About your host

Born in Spain and raised in 8 different countries, I returned to Valencia 9 years ago to discover my Valencian roots. Growing up, I always dreamed of living in Valencia. I envisioned it as my home base, and after Spain won the Football world cup in South Africa, I knew it was time to move back.

In my quest to learn everything there is to know about this city and overlooked region of Spain, I uncovered fascinating gems and incredible stories. Keen to share this with other people, I started my own tourism company, Valtournative, 7 years ago. We specialise in unique and sustainable experiences, helping guests to explore the less well-known parts of Valencia city and the Valencian province.

I’m so excited to be able to offer you this online experience and share with even more people the delights of my home!
